This best describes our approach whereby we can if required take care of the complete package for the client. This may include identifying and/or acquiring ground, handling design and planning processes, negotiating with sub-contractors, neighbours etc and means the client only has to deal with Alan Gow himself as the personal contact within the company.
Alan Gow Groundworks is well able to handle a variety of contracts, ranging from 1-day employee hire to monthly machine hire, all at extremely competitive rates, and contracts up to 2million have been completed.
Ten years on, the company can deploy a full range of modern heavy and light plant, including tracked excavators from 1- 35 tonnes, forward tipping dumpers from 1-9 tonnes, walk-behind and sit-on vibrating rollers, walk-behind and sit-on screed power floats, JCB Loadall and JCB3CX, and articulated dumpers. Externally-calibrated site measuring and levelling equipment are standard tools of our trade. Our small yet comprehensive transport fleet comprises vans, tippers, trailers and pickups and has serviced operations over a wide geographical area. All Alan Gow Groundworks plant and vehicles are, wherever possible, serviced locally, either by local engineers or at the company’s own service yard.
